Our hotel was built in the 18th-century, registered at the “Catasto Leopoldino”. However, the original building probably dates back to the Middle Ages (given its location near Porta Burelli, of medieval origins). The building was used by the Sienese as a shelter from the Florentine army. The rooms at the back of the building overlook our two beautiful valleys: Val d’Orcia and Val d’Arbia. All guests can enjoy the same wonderful view from our panoramic garden with a swimming pool that reminds of a medieval fountain.
The remaining rooms, some on one, some on two floors, will make you experience life in a traditional medieval building, welcome to authentic Tuscany.

Relax on the panoramic terrace or in the pool overlooking Val d’Orcia, one of the most beautiful valleys in Italy. If you wish to relax even more, book a massage at reception. There are both a free car park and a storage room for motorbikes and bicycles.
